It’s been a pleasure knowing that we have been able to, as a company, assist in the future growth and education of the next generation. Scholarships were awarded to135 children of our employees. The grand total given out was $175,000 and it was distributed according to type of institution, GPA, as well as a few other deciding factors.

Monterey Mushrooms at the Monterey County Fair~

Monterey Mushrooms had an educational booth for Kid’s day at the Monterey County Fair. Jessica Pearce and Megan O’Grady of our Quality Assurance Department set up the booth and manned it. The Royal Oaks facility took home 6 blue ribbons for our Organic and Vitamin D lines!

There were many booths for the kids to visit, but the action was at the mushroom booth. They enjoyed being able to touch the compost and see how mushrooms grow!
