High Vitamin D Mushroom Powder

Our Just Mushrooms^® high vitamin D mushroom powders deliver the same goodness as White and Brown mushrooms, except that these mushrooms have been exposed to a specific level of ultraviolet light. This processing step primes them to deliver higher levels of vitamin D.

Dried Mushroom Fruit Bodies

Dried mushroom fruit bodies, are used as additions to foods but are most often used for extraction purposes. Extracted dried mushroom chips are used to make medicinal tinctures, liquid extracts for drinks, or mushroom extracts.

How do mushrooms become nutraceutical?

Nutraceutical products are those used as medicine in addition to being used for nutrition; medicinal mushrooms can offer extra benefits.

Mushroom varieties like Maitake, Reishi, and others are grown on grain that’s inoculated with the mushroom culture. They are then dehydrated and ground into a fine powder, which can easily be incorporated into your favorite food and beverage products with minimal impact on the flavor.

How do our Just Mushrooms become high in vitamin D?

We teamed up with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to replicate vitamin D-rich sunlight indoors with ultraviolet (UV) light. There are other ways you can add vitamin D to your products, but none of those options are as clean-label, vegan, and natural as pure mushroom powder.
