Founded in 1971, Monterey Mushrooms became a family-owned business when the company was purchased by Shah Kazemi who began as an employee himself. Today, our 3,500 U.S. teammates are proud to grow more than 200 million pounds of fresh mushrooms every year. Our humble family-owned business has been enhancing people’s lives for over 50 years.
