Produce, by nature, isn’t always perfect. And that’s OK.
When it comes to driving the industry standard for quality, what matters most is doing your best to address issues, fast. We do that with your help.
The Monterey Mushrooms® Quality Assurance team is always here and always listening. We use your feedback and experiences to make our operations better, from quality to innovation.
Use the instructions below to read the printed code date on your package, then fill out the form to get in touch with our quality team.
All Monterey Mushrooms have a printed code, which includes our location code, Julian date and packing line number, on the package. This tells you (and us) when the mushrooms were packed, where and on what production line, providing full transparency and traceability to you, our retail customers, regulators and ourselves. It also helps us better determine what went wrong (or right).
The Julian date is basically a continuous count of days starting January 1. January 1 is 001. For example, the date code 150 173 4 was packed in Loudon, Tennessee on June 21st.
Examine the numbers printed on your package and match them with one of the location codes below.
