And best of all, one portobella mushroom has about 30 calories and no fat or cholesterol. By comparison, a 3-ounce hamburger patty has 235 calories, 16 grams of fat and 76 milligrams of cholesterol.
Serve on a lightly toasted whole wheat roll with grilled onions for a healthy lunch or dinner meal.
Ingredients
- 4 Monterey® Grill-A-Bella® Caps, whole or 1” slices
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 4 buns of your choice
- Burger toppings of your choice
Instructions
- Preheat grill (or oven) to 375º F.
- Mix together all ingredients and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Grill (or bake) for 15 minutes or until cap is tender.
- Serve on toasted bun with your favorite burger toppings
